HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT HEALTH IF YES , THEN YOU MIGHT HAVE THOUGHTS LIKE :

* Getting up early in the morning

* Eating healthy every time

BUT HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT WHAT IS MEANT BY HEALTH ?

I think most of people don't know about it and its very common in INDIA, health education is like Government which disappoints us everytime.

HEALTHY  : Being healthy means having physically and mental fitness both of them is necessary

MENTAL HEALTH refers  to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is all about how people think, feel, and behave.

PHYSICAL HEALTH is the well-being of the body and the proper functioning of the organism of individuals, which is a normal condition for individuals of both physical, and mental condition who are not suffering from any type of sickness.

HEALTHY IS MAINLY RELATED TO OUR NUTRITION

Its our weakest point we have lack of knowledge towards nutrition

Lets talk about nutrition

Do you know!

AYURVEDA says

YOU DON'T NEED MEDICINE WHEN YOU HAVE FOOD

Just by eating healthy we can be healthy mentally and physically both, we can prevent any imbalance in body just by a healthy food or can say balance diet, so the question arises what is a balance diet I will tell you but firstly let us know some basics.

Our body need 2 types of nutrition

1.Macronurition

2.Micronutrition

MACRONUTRITION : Simply means what is needed in large amount mainly 3 things

a.Protein

b.Carbohydrates

c.Fats

a. PROTEIN :These are the macromolecule made up of amino acids needed for thr proper functioning and growth of the body

SOURCES

So a new question arises how much protein is needed you can easily calculate it from your body weight

For ex . Average person has weight of 70kg so he needs 70gm of protein for proper body function

Except athletes they need approx 1.5 * body weight protein

b.CARBOHYDRATES    Main sources of energy for the body or we can say body fuel

They can be of two types

SIMPLE = which is bad for the body mainly processed

COMPLEX = which is good for the body

c.FATS

Most of The glow which we see on skin is due to fats, cell membranes are mostly made up of fats they also serve as source of energy at time of starvation

They can be of 2 types

GOOD FAT

BAD FAT

MICRONUTRITION  Things which we needed in small amount

a.VITAMIN AND MINERALS

b.FIBRES

a.VITAMIN AND MINERALS

vitamin, any of several organic substances that are necessary in small quantities for normal health and growth in higher forms of animal life. Vitamins are distinct in several ways from other biologically important compounds such as proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids

Minerals are important for your body to stay healthy. Your body uses minerals for many different jobs, including keeping your bones, muscles, heart, and brain working properly. Minerals are also important for making enzymes and hormones

b.FIBRES

Dietary fiber — found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes — is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But foods containing fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as helping to maintain a healthy weight and lowering your risk of diabetes, heart disease and some types of cancer.

WATER   Most important

  • Adult humans are 60 percent water, and our blood is 90 percent water.
  • There is no universally agreed quantity of water that must be consumed daily.
  • Water is essential for the kidneys and other bodily functions.
  • When dehydrated, the skin can become more vulnerable to skin disorders and wrinkling.
  • Drinking water instead of soda can help with weight loss.

BALANCED DIET

A balanced diet comprises vital nutrients like carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, proteins, and fibre. Sufficient and nutritious food that ensures good health is included in a balanced diet. A healthy and balanced diet helps to reduce the risk of diseases and improves overall health.

  • Aim to eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables each day.
  • Drink plenty of water (six to eight glasses is recommended, though this will vary).
  • Try to include at least two portions of fish every week.
  • Get into the habit of eating breakfast daily; it can help reduce snacking later on.
  • Adults are advised to conduct 150 minutes of moderate exercise every week.

Benefits of a balanced diet

  • Vitamins and minerals in the diet are vital to boost immunity and healthy development,
  • A healthy diet can protect the human body against certain types of diseases,
  • Healthy diets can also contribute to adequate body weight.
  • Better mood and energy levels.
  • Improved memory and brain health.

I hope you all like it
